Join a Meeting in Microsoft Teams with the Microsoft Teams App

Tip: Logging into Office.com via Microsoft Edge will let you join a video meeting without any special software to install. Using the installed software is a "stronger option" but not needed. 1. If your using the local application: Open Microsoft Teams by clicking the Start Menu and going to Microsoft Corporation > Microsoft Teams.
   
   
   
   
2. If you're using the online application using Google Chrome: Open Google Chrome, go to https://www.office.com/, then click the Teams icon.
   
   
   
   
3. On the left-hand menu of Microsoft Teams, click the Calendar button.
   
   
   
   
4. Click on the meeting you want to join.
   
   
   
   Tip: You can join meetings at any time, even if they are scheduled many days before or days after the current day.
5. Click the Join button on the top right.
   
   
   
   
6. Choose your controls such as turning video, audio, and background blur off and on. Then begin your meeting by pressing the Join Now button.
   
   
   
   Tip: You can use separate mics and web cams by going to Custom Setup.
