It's great to have software, websites, and other technical resources available to you but sometimes it's hard to find them and/or understand what is there for you. Below are steps to help you understand on how to know and access your technology resources.

Know Your Resources - Click here to view a list of all technology resources available to you at Smith Chason College (SCC). You'll find the entire technology resource list along with the direct websites to access them.
Hint: Going to https://www.office.com/ will get you to 90% of your available technology resources. That's what they call an "easy peasy lemon squeezy". - Accessing via Campus Computers - You can access your pre-installed resources via campus computers and laptops supplied to you by WCUI. Programs used and pre-installed on the on-premise devices at WCUI are listed below.
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
- Anatomy Atlas (not available on all LRC workstations)
- Google Chrome (used to access email, Orbund, Canvas, Ultralinq, etc.)
- Accessing via Mobile Device - Using an app store such Play Store or iTunes or a mobile browser such as Google Chrome (recommended) on your device, you'll be able to access all your resources as well. Below are some mobile apps that are available.
- Outlook (email)
- Canvas Student
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
- OneDrive (storage)
- Accessing via Browser - Most of the resources available to you from West Coast Ultrasound Institute are easily accessible without having to download and install any software. You can do this by accessing them via a browser such as Google Chrome (recommended). Below are some examples.
- Microsoft Portal - https://www.office.com/. Use this website to access all your Microsoft resources such as Outlook (email), OneDrive (storage), and many more.
- Ultralinq - https://app.ultralinq.net/. This is the PACS used in WCUI labs.
- Canvas - https://wcui.instructure.com/. WCUI's learning management system for lecture and lab classes.
- Orbund - WCUI's student information system. Available January 1st, 2019.
- WCUI Help Center - https://support.smithchason.edu/. The help center can assist users in achieving support on their own instead of having to wait for a helping hand. Also, many resources are provided to common questions.
