Microsoft Outlook: The Only Smith Chason-Approved Email App
To ensure the security of our systems and compliance with institutional policies, Microsoft Outlook is the only email application approved for use with Smith Chason accounts.
Using non-approved apps (such as Apple Mail or other third-party email clients) may lead to the following issues:
- Blocked operations: you may see messages stating "This operation has been blocked"
- Missing security features: such as banners that warn you when sending or receiving messages involving external recipients
- Limited support: third-party apps may not work correctly with our Microsoft 365 environment
To avoid interruptions and ensure full functionality, please use Microsoft Outlook on all devices (desktop, mobile, and web).
***To add your Outlook (email) application to a mobile device, please follow the steps below.***
- On your mobile device, go to your application store such as App Store (iPhone, iPad), Google Play (Pixel, Samsung), etc.

Search for Microsoft Outlook.

- Download and install Outlook.
- Enter your Smith Chason email address and tap Sign In. You will be redirected to Microsoft's sign-in page. Enter your password when prompted.
- If prompted, complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) using the Microsoft Authenticator app or your registered verification method.
