Outdated browsers can cause issues with loading websites, accessing school resources like Canvas or student portals, and may expose your device to security risks. It is recommended to keep your browser updated at all times.
Updating Google Chrome
Step 1 - Open the Chrome browser. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the Chrome window.
Step 2 - Go to Settings Click "Settings" in the dropdown menu.
Step 3 - Go to About Chrome In the left-hand sidebar, click "About Chrome." Chrome will automatically check for and download any available updates.
Step 4 - Relaunch Chrome Once the update is downloaded, click "Relaunch" to restart Chrome and apply the update. If no update is available, you will see "Chrome is up to date."
Updating Microsoft Edge
Step 1 - Open the Edge browser Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the Edge window.
Step 2 - Go to Settings Click "Settings" in the dropdown menu.
Step 3 - Go to About Microsoft Edge In the left-hand sidebar, click "About Microsoft Edge." Edge will automatically check for and download any available updates.
Step 4 - Restart Edge Once the update is downloaded, click "Restart" to apply the update. If no update is available, you will see "Microsoft Edge is up to date."
